കൂർക്കഞ്ചേരി നിവാസികളായ മുസ്ലിങ്ങളുടെ ദീനീ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ പൂർത്തീകരിക്കുവാൻ മുപ്പത്തഞ്ചു വര്ഷം മുൻപ് രൂപീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട സംഘടനയാണ് ഹിദായത്തുൽ ഇഖ്വാൻ സംഘം . ജനാബ് ഒ. കെ. മുഹമ്മദ് സാഹിബിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ കൊക്കാലെ മുസ്ലിം ജമാഅത്തിന്നു കീഴിൽ ഒരു മദ്രസയും, അതിൽത്തന്നെ നമസ്കാരത്തിനുള്ള ചെറിയ സൗകര്യവും ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടാണ് പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചത് . 1969 ൽ ചുമതലയേറ്റ കമ്മിറ്റി ഒരു പള്ളി നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിന് ശ്രമമാരംഭിക്കുകയും 1970 ൽ പള്ളി നിർമാണം പൂർത്തിയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.1972 ൽ മദ്രസ കെട്ടിടവും നിർമ്മിച്ചു. അതോടെ ജുമുഅയും പെരുന്നാൾ നമസ്കാരവും ആരംഭിച്ചു.1979 ആഗസ്ത് വരെയും ഹിദായത്തുൽ ഇഖ്വാൻ സംഘം എന്ന പേരിലാണ് തുടർന്നുപോന്നത് . 12.08.1979ൽ ചേർന്ന ജനറൽ ബോഡി യോഗം കൂർക്കഞ്ചേരി ഒരു സ്വതന്ത്ര ജമാഅത്തായി തീരുന്നതിനുള്ള പ്രമേയം ഐക്യകണ്ടേന അംഗീകരിച്ചു.
പട്ടണം വികസിക്കുന്നതിനനുസരിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ വീട്ടുകാർ കൂർക്കഞ്ചേരി ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് മാറിത്താമസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനാൽ പള്ളിയുടെ വിപുലീകരണാർത്ഥം വീണ്ടും നിർമ്മാണപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഒരു മഹല്ലുജമാഅത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടതായ എല്ലാ സൗകര്യങ്ങളും റിക്കാർഡുകളും പൂർത്തിയാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു പിന്നീടുള്ള കർത്തവ്യം. അതും പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു. ഈ ജമാഅത്ത് നാളിതുവരെ തുടർന്നുപോന്ന ഐക്യത്തിന്റെയും, സൗഹൃദത്തിന്റെയും നിദർശനമായും മാതൃകാപരമായ പദ്ധതികൾക്കും, പരിപാടികൾക്കും അനുസൃതമായും തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ഒരു നിയമാവലിയാണിത്. 1990 ഡിസംബർ 23 നു ചേർന്ന ജനറൽ ബോഡി യോഗമാണ് ഈ നിയമാവലി ഐക്യ കണ്ടേന അംഗീകരിച്ചത്.
ഇത്തരുണത്തിൽ ഈ മഹല്ലിന്റെയും, ജമാഅത്തിന്റെയും നമ്മുടെ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെയും നാളിതുവരെയുള്ള വളർച്ചക്ക് പങ്കുവഹിക്കുകയും, ഈ ലോകത്തോട് വിട പറഞ്ഞു പിരിയുകയും ചെയ്ത മഹൽ വ്യക്തികളെ അനുസ്മരിക്കുകയാണ്. ആദ്യന്തം നമ്മോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സി.എം. അബ്ദു സലാം റാവുത്തർ , ഓ.കെ. മുഹമ്മദ് , കെ.എ. മക്കാർ മാസ്റ്റർ, പ്രൊഫ. സയ്യിദ് മൊഹിദ്ദീൻഷാ , എ.ബി. സിദ്ധീഖ്, കുഞ്ഞുമുഹമ്മദ് മുസ്ലിയാർ, ടി.കെ.അബ്ദുൾറഹീം, മുണ്ടോത്ത് അബ്ദുല്ല , സി.എ. കരീം, പി.സ്.ഹംസ, വി.കെ. അടിമു, കെ.എ. അബ്ദുൽറഹ് മാൻ, പി.കെ. അബ്ദുൽറഹ് മാൻ, കടമ്പോട്ടിൽ മുഹമ്മദ്, പി.എ. കോയക്കുട്ടി, ബി ഫസലുല്ല മാസ്റ്റർ , കീഴാലിപറമ്പിൽ കുഞ്ഞിമരക്കാർ എന്നീ മഹൽ വ്യക്തികൾക്ക് മഗ്ഫിറത്തും , മർഹമത്തും നൽകി അല്ലാഹു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ.
